ML Experts Consulting

A Medicolegal Practice offering Gold Standard medical expert witnesses.

We only handle medico legal work, progressing your cases efficiently. Free from the conflicting priorities of patients, clinics and overstretched medical secretaries, our handpicked Practice consultants have years of experience and expertise in legal work – personal injury, clinical negligence and criminal cases.

Why ML Experts Consulting?

Medical

Our medical expert witnesses are practitioners with their own active medical practices in addition to their legal work. Experts have been selected for their clinical excellence as well as their academic work. Remaining up to date with current knowledge and medical/surgical practices is essential. All our experts are practising clinicians, successful and highly regarded within their own specialisation.

Legal

All our medical expert witnesses have undergone training in report writing for medico-legal cases, as single and joint instruction, and also court attendance experience are necessary to ensure that a medical expert witness can act correctly within the legal frameworks where a medical opinion is required. Our experts are well versed in claimant and defence cases, whether personal injury, clinical/medical negligence or Ministry of Defence cases. We do not specialise in either claimant or defendant work, nor do any of our experts, as we feel this is limiting, and can lead to “blinkered thinking”. We therefore work with a large number of NHS Trusts, as well as law firms.

Experts

Our highly specialised experts come to your cases with current knowledge, access to the latest academic research, and the ability to give an opinion that is both robust and tenable. Experts are backed by a specialist team of secretarial and case management staff, headed by a trained and experienced expert witness.
