Dr Tudor Phillips MA, MB, BChir, MD, FRCA, FFPMRCA
Dr Tudor Phillips is a consultant specialist in Pain Management and has experience in the management of a wide-range of Chronic Pain conditions. Additionally Dr Phillips has specialist training and interest in Cancer Pain (including pain in Cancer survivors) and Neuropathic Pain conditions including Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) and Painful Peripheral Neuropathies.
Dr Phillips has worked as a consultant at the Oxford Pain Management Centre (formally the Pain Relief Unit) since 2011 and is also an Honorary Senior Research Fellow for the University of Oxford. Dr Phillips read for both Pharmacology and Medicine at the University of Cambridge, qualifying in 1998.
Dr Phillips undertook specialist training in Anaesthesia and Pain Medicine at the Imperial School of Anaesthesia in West London. In 2008 he completed an eighteen-month Fellowship in Pain Medicine at the Royal Marsden Hospital with additional training in Chronic Pain and Interventional injections at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. After completing his clinical training Dr Phillips undertook full time research for three years at Imperial College for which he was awarded a doctorate in Neuropathic Pain.
