Dr David Honeybourne, MD, MSc, FRCP
Dr David Honeybourne, MD, MSc, FRCP is a Consultant General Physician with a special interest in lung diseases. He has published widely in the area of lung infections and is an experienced expert witness as a General Physician.
He was, until recently, Director of the West Midlands Adult Cystic Fibrosis Centre at Heartlands Hospital, Birmingham, one of the largest CF centres in the UK, which looks after over 380 adults. He now has a large private and medicolegal practice based at the Priory Hospital in Birmingham and also sees NHS patients in clinics in Chichester, West Sussex. He is also Senior Lecturer in Medicine, University of Birmingham Medical School and Honorary Reader in the Department of Biological Sciences, University of Warwick. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians in London, Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine in London and an active member of the British Thoracic Society.
He specialises in lung diseases and has a particular clinical and research interest in lung infections.
